We don't just say this — we tested it. Installed an old version on a real machine, entered real sample data, activated a real license, then updated it in place (not a clean reinstall). Every product, customer, and the license itself survived, checked directly in the database file afterward.

- Any barcode scanner that types like a keyboard works — that's nearly every USB/Bluetooth scanner on the market, including generic ones. Scan, and it lands in the sale.

- Receipt printer and scale integration are not built yet — on our roadmap, not a current feature. We won't claim it before it's real.
